Visiting Angels in Reading is seeking a Caregiver to serve Berks and Northern Chester County. We offer part-time and full-time positions with day, evening, and overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months experience caring for seniors or disabled adults.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Reliability and professionalism are important.
• Must enjoy helping others.
• CNA is a plus but not required.
• Background checks and references will be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care: oral care, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping: laundry, dishes, vacuuming.
• Plan, prepare and serve meals.
• Assist with transfers, walking and activity.
• Help with transportation to appointments, activities, errands, shopping.
• Provide companionship and positive support at all times.

Visiting Angels of Reading is currently looking for a Caregiver to work in and around Berks and Northern Chester County. We serve the local area including and many others. Part-time and full-time positions available. We have day, evening, and overnight shifts available.

Applicants MUST have

• MUST have high school diploma or equivalent
• MINIMUM of 6 months experience in caring for Seniors and/or Disabled Adults professionally or personally.
• Reliable transportation is a MUST.
• Reliability and Professionalism are very important.
• MUST enjoy assisting in the needs of others.
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience a plus.
• CNA a plus Not a requirement.

References and background checks will be performed. We promote a drug-free environment.

Caregiver responsibilities may include:
