Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is hiring across Connecticut with flexible scheduling including weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live‑in shifts. Competitive hourly pay plus referral bonuses and full benefits are offered.

Provide non‑medical home care, transport clients, assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, dressing, bathing, and companionship while following each client's Plan of Care. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check is required.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence with companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
