Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is hiring across Connecticut to provide non-medical home care. You will follow each client's Plan of Care, assist with daily activities, transportation, light housekeeping, and companionship.

We offer flexible scheduling – Weekdays, Weekends, Awake Overnight, and Live-In shifts. The team provides competitive hourly pay, benefits, and ongoing training; a valid driver’s license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Criminal background check clearance required.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
