BrightStar Care of East Los Gatos & South San Jose is looking for compassionate caregivers to join our team and provide exceptional in-home care to our clients. If you are reliable, patient, and eager to help others, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, providing companionship, light housekeeping, and reporting changes in clients’ well-being. Requirements include CDSS registration, driver’s license, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience required.
• Must register as a Home Care Aide with CDSS.
• 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, transportation, and auto insurance.
• Ability to pass live scan background check and drug screening.
• CPR certification.
• TB test or chest x-ray.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient and dependable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ well-being or behavior.
• Follow care plans and safety protocols.
• Assist with medication reminders.
• Provide transportation or accompany clients to appointments as needed.
• Foster independence and promote social interaction.

Caregiver Pay Range

$21 - $25 per hour

Los Gatos

Female, Mon-Fri: 6am-12pm

Female, Mon-Fri: 5pm-10pm

San Jose

Female, Mon-Fri: 9am-4:30pm

Female, Mon-Fri: 4:30pm-12am

Any, Mon-Fri: 6am-8:30pm

Sunnyvale

Female, Mon-Fri: 9am-5pm
