BrightStar Care of East Los Gatos & South San Jose is hiring Overnight Caregivers in Gilroy, CA for a 11pm–7am shift. You will assist clients with daily living activities, provide companionship, and follow care plans with safety protocols.

We offer weekly pay with direct deposit, flexible schedules, mileage reimbursement, and paid training. Must have caregiver experience, CDSS Home Care Aide registration, a HS diploma, valid driver’s license, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience required.
• Must register as a Home Care Aide with CDSS.
• 18 years old and a High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance are required.
• Ability to pass a live scan background check and drug screening.
• CPR certification
• TB test or chest X-ray
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ well-being or behavior.
• Follow care plans and safety protocols.
• Assist with medication reminders.
• Provide transportation or accompany clients to appointments as needed.
• Foster independence and promote social interaction

We are looking for Overnight Caregivers in Gilroy, CA. The shift is 11pm - 7am. Caregivers MUST REMAIN AWAKE throughout this shift.

Caregiver Pay Range

$20 - $24 per hour
