Job summary

Cross Country Search in San Francisco, CA is seeking a full-time Caregiver to provide compassionate personal care and support within home and community settings. The role runs Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–5:00 pm, focusing on participant safety, dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Your duties include grooming, dressing, bathing, toileting, housekeeping, meals, and laundry, while coordinating with an interdisciplinary team to monitor changes in condition and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with elderly or frail populations.
• Basic conversational English skills required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to provide personal care services in home and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and escort assistance based on individual care plans, including grooming, dressing, bathing, toileting, housekeeping, meals, and laundry.
• Observe and report changes in participant condition to the interdisciplinary team.
• Follow safe body mechanics, universal precautions, and environmental safety practices.
• Interact professionally with participants, families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Work across home and community settings as needed.
