Job summary

• Prepare and serve meals according to care plans.
• Maintain a safe, clean living environment.
• Provide dementia care using person-centered techniques.
• Complete shift logs, incident reports, and care plans accurately.
• Respond to emergencies following facility protocols.

Job description

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

Administer or assist with medication by facility protocol and Texas Health and Human Services (HHSC) regulations

Monitor resident health and behavior; report changes promptly to the House Manager or on-call nurse

Prepare and serve meals according to individualized dietary and care plans

Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment in compliance with facility and state standards

Support residents with dementia or cognitive impairment using person-centered care techniques

Complete required documentation (shift logs, incident reports, care plans) accurately and on time

Respond to emergencies and follow facility emergency protocols

Foster a respectful, engaging, and supportive environment for residents at all times
