Job summary

The Kidz Club PPEC in Saint Petersburg, FL seeks compassionate staff to provide hands-on daily care for medically complex children. No nights, no major holidays, Sundays closed, with a Monday–Friday schedule and Saturday hours.

Responsibilities include daily living support, encouraging independence, and participating in developmentally appropriate activities while working within a nursing-supervised, multidisciplinary team. Relevant CPR/BLS and TB tests are required, with benefits outlined.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with clear, warm, easy-to-understand messaging.
• Ability to engage with children beyond supervision.
• Comfortable with basic computer use and electronic charting systems.
• Healthcare/childcare experience is preferred but not required.

What we’re looking for

• Great communicator – clear, warm and easy to understand
• An ability and to really engage with children, not just watch them!
• Comfortable with basic computer use and learning electronic charting
• Childcare/healthcare experience preferred (not required!)
• Current negative TB test (PPD) required
• Current CPR/Basic Life Support certification required
