Job summary

The Kidz Club PPEC is hiring to provide hands-on daily care for medically complex children in a supportive, team-based setting. This role emphasizes compassionate care, developmentally appropriate activities, and close collaboration with nursing staff.

There are no night shifts, and Sundays are always closed. Full-time, part-time, and PRN positions are available, with hours Monday to Friday and some weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Clear, warm communication, easily understood by children and families.
• Ability to engage with children, not just observe them.
• Comfort with basic computer use and electronic charting.
• Healthcare or childcare experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on daily care and support to children with medical complexities.
• Assist with activities of daily living and promote independence.
• Support developmentally appropriate activities and daily schedules.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team under nursing supervision.

About The Role

• Provide hands‑on daily care and support to children with medical complexities

• Support developmentally appropriate activities and daily schedules
• Work as part of a caring, multidisciplinary team under nursing supervision

What we’re looking for

• Great communicator – clear, warm and easy to understand
• An ability and to really engage with children, not just watch them!
• Comfortable with basic computer use and learning electronic charting
• Childcare/healthcare experience preferred (not required!)
• Current negative TB test (PPD) required
• Current CPR/Basic Life Support certification required
