Job summary

The Kidz Club in Saint Petersburg, FL is hiring a Caregiver to provide hands-on daily care for medically complex children under nursing supervision. This full-time role offers meaningful work with a weekday schedule and no night shifts.

You will support daily living activities, encourage independence, and participate in developmentally appropriate activities as part of a caring, multidisciplinary team. Hours: Mon-Fri 7:30am–5:30pm, Sat 8am–4pm; Sundays and major holidays closed.

Qualifications

• Clear, warm communication with children and families.
• Ability to engage with medically complex children beyond passive supervision.
• Comfort with basic computer use and electronic charting.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on daily care to medically complex children.
• Support activities of daily living and encourage independence.
• Implement developmentally appropriate activities and daily schedules.

What we’re looking for

• Great communicator – clear, warm and easy to understand
• An ability and to really engage with children, not just watch them!
• Comfortable with basic computer use and learning electronic charting
• Childcare/healthcare experience preferred (not required!)
• Current negative TB test (PPD) required
• Current CPR/Basic Life Support certification required
