Job summary

The Kidz Club in Lexington, KY is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide hands-on daily care to medically complex children. This role works under nursing supervision and is part-time.

You will support activities of daily living, encourage independence, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Schedule: Part-time 2:00pm–6:00pm, Monday to Friday. The organization operates weekdays and is closed Sundays.

Qualifications

• Great communication skills with warm, clear interactions.
• Ability to engage actively with children, not just supervise.
• Comfortable with basic computer tasks and electronic charting systems.
• Childcare/healthcare experience preferred but not required.

What we’re looking for

• Great communicator – clear, warm and easy to understand
• An abilityto really engage with children, not just watch them!
• Comfortable with basic computer use and learning electronic charting
• Childcare/healthcare experience preferred (not required!)
• Current negative TB test (PPD) required
• Current CPR/Basic Life Support certification required
