Job summary

NeuroRestorative, a part of Sevita, provides rehabilitation services in diverse settings and offers programs for all ages with brain, spinal cord, and medically complex injuries. The Caregiver role requires compassion, strong communication, and the ability to follow instructions to help clients live safely and comfortably.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in human services or caregiving preferred, but not mandatory.
• Valid, non-probationary driver’s license held for at least one year.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Transport clients to appointments utilizing company vehicles.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Support wheelchair assistance and safe transportation.
• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Ensure overall safety and well-being of clients.
• Use proper lifting and bending techniques to physically support clients.

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

Starting Pay:

• Additional $0.50/hour for 1–4 years of experience
• Additional $1.00/hour for 5+ years of experience

Preliminary Requirements

• Proof of non-probationary driver’s license held for at least one year
• Ability to attend orientation (Tuesday–Friday, Daytime)
