Job summary

Sevita, through NeuroRestorative, seeks compassionate care staff for 12-hour shifts on a full-time basis in Maine. The role supports individuals with brain, spinal cord and medically complex needs in residential and community settings, delivering living skills training, daily living support, and transportation as needed.

You will work closely with clinical teams to implement therapeutic and behavioral plans, while maintaining safety, dignity and high-quality care for all served.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months of experience in human services preferred.
• Valid Driver's License for at least 1 year and good driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass background checks.
• Caring attitude with dedication to assisting others.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, assistance and supervision to individuals in living skills and therapeutic activities.
• Assist with daily activities including meals, hygiene, shopping, cleaning and medication administration.
• Support community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support therapy and behavioral plans.

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

We are hiring 12 hour shifts Full Time!

Starting wage: $18.75/hour plus we pay additional for relative certifications

• Provide training, assistance and supervision to individuals receiving care in the areas of living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of assistance in both residential and community settings.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration.
• Facilitate the working relationships between employers and individuals served, and support community involvement by accompanying them on outings, or providing transportation to work or other activities.
• Work closely with our clinical staff to support the therapeutic and behavioral plans in place.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Six months to one year of experience in the human services field
• Valid Driver's License from state of residence for minimum 1 year and good driving record
• Must be minimum of 18 years of age
• Successful clearance of background checks
• A caring attitude with a dedication to assisting others
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication skills
