Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care across Connecticut. You will follow each client's Plan of Care, assist with daily activities, transport to appointments, and help with light housekeeping, meal prep, and errands.

We value reliability and strong communication. A high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance preferred.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — provide companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Your Day-to-Day
