Job summary

Regency Pullman, a retirement and assisted living community, is hiring compassionate caregivers to support residents’ daily well‑being. You will assist with ADLs, medication reminders, meals, and social activities under the supervision of the wellness director.

Preferred candidates have six months in senior caregiving; training is provided for newcomers. You will report to the wellness director and help maintain a safe, home‑like environment that respects residents' dignity.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in senior caregiving preferred.
• Willing to be trained if new to healthcare.
• Ability to compose reports in English.

Responsibilities

• Follow the resident service plan including ADLs, bathing, grooming, administering medication, and other activities of daily living.
• Communicate problems with resident apartments, buildings, and grounds to the team.
• Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Demonstrate knowledge of infection control procedures.
• Comply with regulatory standards and OSHA guidelines and incident reporting.
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, and staff.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, and home-like environment for residents.

As a caregiver, you assist our senior residents in their daily well-being, including personal services, medication assistance, social-recreational activities, meal services, and other tasks. You will report to the wellness director.

You Will:

• Follow the resident service plan including; assistance, bathing, grooming, administering medication, and other activities of daily living (ADLs), noting changes in the resident condition.
• Communicate problems, concerns, and issues with resident apartments, buildings, and grounds with an appropriate team member.
• Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
• Comply with regulatory standards and OSHA guidelines, and incident reporting guidelines.
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
• Support the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and home-like environment for residents.

You currently:

• Preferred candidates have six months of experience in senior caregiving. If new to healthcare, we will train.
• Exude a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe demeanor.
• Compose reports in English.
