Job summary

InterimHealthCare of Walnut Creek is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to assist aging and other clients in their homes across Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. You will provide compassionate personal care, mobility support, meal prep, and companionship in a respectful, client-centered environment.

We offer full-time, part-time, and per diem positions with competitive pay and weekly pay. Training, benefits, and a supportive local team help you grow while making a real difference in people’s daily

Qualifications

• Home Care Aide registration required to provide personal care in CA
• Reliable transportation
• Current CPR certification
• Current Annual TB or PPD
• Two positive references
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role

Responsibilities

• Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care with dignity and respect
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, shopping, and errands
• Support safe mobility through ambulation assistance, positioning, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders and follow each client's service plan
• Observe, document, and promptly report changes in a client's condition or safety to your supervisor
• Offer companionship and create meaningful moments through conversation, activities, and shared interests
