Caregiver - $6,000 Sign-On Bonus (paid throughout the first year of employment)

Location: Butler, PA - Full-time

Pay Rate: Starting at $16.90 per hour

Lutheran SeniorLife offers a wide range of community-based health and social services across western Pennsylvania, including LIFE, skilled nursing, home health, personal care, adoption & foster care, assisted living, adult day services, memory care, hospice, palliative care, residential living, affordable housing, home safety monitoring, Meals on Wheels, rehabilitation, and private duty services.

We are opening a licensed personal care community in Summer 2025 near the Benbrook Medical Center Complex in Butler, PA, designed to support 29 individuals needing assistance with daily activities. The environment will be comfortable, home-like, and person-centered.

The role involves enhancing residents' lives by assisting with routine activities, respecting their rights and privacy, and responding promptly to their needs. The planned start date for new hires is end of July 2025, ahead of the opening in August 2025.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; must be at least 18 years old
• Experience with elder services preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification or successful completion after hire; completion of state direct care programs
• Basic computer knowledge
