Job summary

ExpertCare is seeking a dependable Personal Care Assistant to work 1:1 with recipients in their homes across Southeast Michigan. You will support, encourage, and help with skill-building activities, and you’ll also bring clients into the community to grow their personal goals outside the home.

Full and part-time positions are available, with paid training and a flexible schedule. Weekly pay is offered, and the interview process is conducted virtually.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 personal care and support in clients' homes.
• Assist recipients with daily living activities and skill-building.
• Support participation in community activities to promote goals.
• Follow care plans and document observations as needed.
