BrightStar Care of The Monterey Peninsula is hiring experienced Caregivers and Home Care Aides to provide one-on-one in-home care in our community. We offer flexible 4- and 8-hour shifts with daytime, evening, weekend options and per diem scheduling to fit your availability.

Pay ranges from $21–$24 per hour, with an extra $2/hour for weekend shifts, and includes paid sick time, PTO, training, and a Caregiver Recognition Program.

Formación

• Must have CPR certification.
• Registered with the California Home Care Aide Registry.
• TB skin test or chest X-ray completed.
• 1+ year of professional caregiver experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide ADLs assistance.
• Bathing, dressing, grooming and personal care.
• Provide companionship and social interaction.
• Prepare meals and follow dietary needs.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Light housekeeping and safety maintenance.
• Mobility and transfer assistance as needed.
• Observe and report client condition changes.
• Document tasks and write care notes.

Caregiver Pay & Benefits

Caregiver / Home Care Aide Responsibilities

As a Caregiver with BrightStar Care, you will provide personalized, compassionate support that helps clients remain safe and comfortable in their homes.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Provide bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care assistance

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction

• Prepare meals and follow dietary needs or preferences

• Provide transportation to appointments, errands, shopping, and activities

• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment

• Provide mobility and transfer assistance as appropriate

• Observe and report changes in a client's condition

• Document completed tasks and create accurate care notes for each visit

• Follow the client's individualized plan of care

• Maintain client privacy and follow all HIPAA requirements

Caregiver Requirements

• Valid driver's license

• Reliable and insured vehicle

• Current CPR certification

• Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray

• Registered with the California Home Care Aide Registry

• 1+ year of professional Caregiver, Home Care Aide, Personal Care Assistant, or similar experience preferred

• Dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing excellent care

• Ability to reliably arrive on time for scheduled shifts
