Job summary

BrightStar Care EW Home Care Corp. in Oakland County, MI is hiring compassionate caregivers such as CNAs and HHAs to provide in-home care to seniors. We offer flexible shifts, competitive pay starting at $16/hour, and comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification preferred
• At least 1 year of caregiving or CNA experience required
• High school diploma or GED
• CPR certification
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, twist, push, and pull as needed

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Providing medication reminders
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and toileting
• Taking and recording vital signs
• Providing transportation to appointments, errands, and activities
• Following individualized care plans
• Communicating important client updates to the care team
