Job summary

HomeWell Care Services MA267 in Middleborough, MA is looking for compassionate Caregivers to enhance seniors’ lives one day at a time. You will work individually with clients, providing a range of non-medical services that help seniors age in place comfortably at home.

Your responsibilities include companionship, light cooking, grooming assistance, and transportation. A CNA or HHA license is preferred, or relevant experience in caregiving.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons.
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position.
• Must have proof of current TB testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support to seniors.
• Assist with light cooking and cleaning tasks.
• Help with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Remind clients about their medication and assist with ambulation.
• Transport clients for appointments and errands.

QUALIFICATIONS

• CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
• Exceptional communication skills
• Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Proof of current TB testing
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
• Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)
