Zusammenfassung

ComForCare Home Health Care - Slidell is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our Metairie, LA team. Provide in-home assistance that supports independence, dignity, and safety for clients.

You will help with ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and monitoring health while documenting care logs and communicating with supervisors. Flexible hours including evenings and weekends are available, and training is provided to help you grow with the company.

Qualifikationen

• Previous caregiving, home health aide (HHA), or personal care aide (PCA) experience preferred.
• Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Aufgaben

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying living spaces.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure client safety.
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities.
