ComForCare Home Health Care - Slidell is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver one-on-one care in clients' homes in Chalmette, LA. You will provide personal care, assist with mobility, monitor health status, and support meals while following care plans.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
• Monitor and document client health status, reporting any changes to the supervising nurse
• Support clients with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and nutritional monitoring
• Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain a safe, clean living environment
• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well‑being
• Follow individualized care plans and adhere to all home health care protocols

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently in a home care environment
