Job summary

Interim HealthCare in Modesto, CA is seeking a part-time caregiver to support seniors in their homes with daily activities, companionship, and safety. You will help with bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and light housekeeping, while promoting independence and comfort.

The role emphasizes compassionate, dependable care, 1:1 client interactions, and flexible scheduling with opportunities for online CEUs and ongoing training to grow your skills in a community-focused agency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and active California Home Health Aide registration
• Current CPR certification; valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Compassionate and dependable with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, and companionship
• Support mobility and safety, including ambulation assistance, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide medication reminders, observe and document health conditions, and report concerns
• Create meaningful moments by engaging clients in activities they enjoy—reading, puzzles, hobbies
