Job summary

Companions & Homemakers in Connecticut is hiring caregivers to provide non-medical home care per each client’s Plan of Care. Flexible shifts include Weekdays, Weekends, Overnights, and Live-In options with competitive hourly pay.

You’ll transport clients, assist with dressing, bathing, mobility and light housekeeping, plus meal prep, errands and companionship. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED, valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, ability to pass a background check, and open

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client’s individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
