Job summary

Comfort Keepers of Central Florida is hiring a compassionate Caregiver to help clients live safely and independently in their homes across the Central Florida region. The role supports daily routines, preserves independence, and delivers peace of mind to families.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in caregiving, home health, or related healthcare setting preferred.
• CNA or HHA certification a plus — not required.
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication and commitment to person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Support light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, tidying living areas
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities
• Monitor and document changes in client condition and communicate concerns to the care team
• Follow individualized care plans and adapt to each client's needs and preferences
