Job summary

Comfort Keepers of Central Florida - Zephyrhills is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors and adults in their homes, helping with daily activities and independence. You will work directly with clients to provide safety, dignity, and peace of mind for families.

Responsibilities include ADLs, companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation. Prior experience is preferred; Florida driver’s license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in caregiving, home health, or related healthcare setting preferred.
• CNA or HHA certification a plus — not required.
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to person-centered care.
• Comfortable working independently in a client's home environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Support light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and tidying living areas.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities.
• Monitor and document changes in client condition and communicate concerns to the care team.
• Follow individualized care plans and adapt to each client's needs and preferences.
