Job summary

Comfort Keepers of Central Florida is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to assist seniors and adults in their homes, helping with daily routines and maintaining independence. You will support families by delivering safe, respectful, and person-centered care in clients' homes.

You will work directly with clients, promoting wellbeing and peace of mind, while following individual care plans and collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving or related healthcare experience preferred.
• CNA or HHA certification is a plus, not required.
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication and person-centered care commitment.
• Comfortable working independently in a client's home.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Support light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and tidying living areas.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities.
• Monitor and document changes in client condition and communicate concerns to the care team.
• Follow individualized care plans and adapt to each client's needs and preferences.
