Summary:

As a Resident Assistant, you are a vital part of our team, enhancing residents' lives through consistent, quality care, ensuring they live meaningful lives.

Essential Functions:

• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
• Engage residents in conversation, socialization, and activities while providing personal care
• Respond promptly to resident needs and requests, providing or obtaining assistance as needed
• Assist in dining during meal times
• Encourage participation in activities and outings, assisting as needed
• Help maintain community cleanliness, including tidying resident rooms and assisting with laundry per shift guidelines

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
• Ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to pass required tests (e.g., CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers) as per state regulations
