Job summary

Dial Senior Living is seeking caregivers to provide personal care services and daily living support for residents. You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, and wellbeing under RN delegation where applicable.

This entry-level role does not require a nursing certificate and invites individuals starting a caregiving career to join a dedicated team that values safety, compassion, and resident happiness.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Knowledge of Basic First Aid.
• No nursing certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to each resident according to the resident service plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, mobility).
• Observe and report changes in health, safety, and well-being.
• Respond to call signals and emergencies; assist or contact appropriate support.
• Support mobility with transfers, positioning, and use of mobility aids.
• Assist with meals and bussing during mealtimes.
• Offer companionship and encourage socialization.
• Launder clothing, linen and towels; return to residents.
• Complete minor housekeeping of apartments; maintain a pleasant home.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information.
• Report on-the-job injuries to supervisor the same day.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

This position does not require a nursing certificate and is ideal for individuals beginning a caregiving career. The position provides personal care services, assistance, and support while ensuring resident wellbeing and safety, through RN delegation.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing services to each resident according to the resident service plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in health, safety, and well-being of the residents.
• Respond promptly to call signals and resident emergencies, assisting with their immediate need or contacting emergency support.
• Support resident mobility by assisting with transfers, positioning, walking, and using mobility aids as needed.
• Assist with serving meals and bussing tables during mealtimes.
• Offer companionship and conversation while encouraging socialization among residents.
• Launder residents’ clothing, linen and towels; fold and return to residents.
• Complete minor housekeeping of residents’ apartments, providing a pleasant home environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, facility operations and personnel.
• Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience And Other Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Knowledge of Basic First Aid
