Dial in Illinois is seeking a Caregiver to support memory care residents under RN delegation. The role focuses on resident wellbeing, safety, and daily living assistance.

You will help with bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, mobility, companionship, and mobility transfers, while observing changes and reporting them promptly. No nursing certificate required; great entry path into caregiving with supportive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Knowledge of Basic First Aid.
• Ability to follow directives and work in a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services per resident service plan.
• Assist residents with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, mobility.
• Observe and report changes in health and safety.
• Respond to call signals and emergencies; contact support as needed.
• Support mobility with transfers and positioning; use mobility aids.
• Serve meals and bussing during mealtimes.
• Offer companionship and encourage socialization.
• Launder clothing and linens; light housekeeping.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor by end of shift.
• Other duties as assigned.

Memory Care 12 Hour Shifts, 7:00am-7:30pm

Position Overview

This position does not require a nursing certificate and is ideal for individuals beginning a caregiving career. The position provides personal care services, assistance, and support while ensuring resident wellbeing and safety, through RN delegation.

• Responsible for providing services to each resident according to the resident service plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in health, safety, and well-being of the residents.
• Respond promptly to call signals and resident emergencies, assisting with their immediate need or contacting emergency support.
• Support resident mobility by assisting with transfers, positioning, walking, and using mobility aids as needed.
• Assist with serving meals and bussing tables during mealtimes.
• Offer companionship and conversation while encouraging socialization among residents.
• Launder residents’ clothing, linen and towels; fold and return to residents.
• Complete minor housekeeping of residents’ apartments, providing a pleasant home environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, facility operations and personnel.
• Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Other Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Knowledge of Basic First Aid
