Job summary

Legacy at Lamar in Lamar, CO is hiring a Caregiver to help residents with daily living, under the supervision of the Health & Wellness Director, and to support the overall care plan with compassion. This position offers a wage range of $17.00-$18.00 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification from recognized organizations.
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and dressing.
• Support residents with stand-by assist transfers.
• Provide quality personal hygiene care to residents.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing supervisor.
• Apply infection control principles consistently during all care activities.
• Adapt to changing needs and responsibilities as required.
