Jackson Creek Senior Living in Monument, CO is hiring a Caregiver. The role provides personal care services to residents under RN delegation, assisting with activities of daily living and promoting safety and wellbeing.

You will observe health changes, respond to calls and emergencies, support mobility, assist with meals, and offer companionship. Prior caregiving experience is helpful; must be at least 16 with basic first aid knowledge.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

This position does not require a nursing certificate and is ideal for individuals beginning a caregiving career. The position provides personal care services, assistance, and support while ensuring resident wellbeing and safety, through RN delegation.

• Responsible for providing services to each resident according to the resident service plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in health, safety, and well-being of the residents.
• Respond promptly to call signals and resident emergencies, assisting with their immediate need or contacting emergency support.
• Support resident mobility by assisting with transfers, positioning, walking, and using mobility aids as needed.
• Assist with serving meals and bussing tables during mealtimes.
• Offer companionship and conversation while encouraging socialization among residents.
• Launder residents’ clothing, linen and towels; fold and return to residents.
• Complete minor housekeeping of residents’ apartments, providing a pleasant home environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, facility operations and personnel.
• Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Other Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Knowledge of Basic First Aid
