Job summary

BrightStar Care in Richardson, TX is seeking a compassionate part-time Caregiver to provide one-on-one in-home and community support in the Granbury area. You will work closely with our clinical team to ensure safe, personalized care and daily living activities.

The role covers transfers with a Hoyer lift, ADLs, companionship, and monitoring changes in health. Availability Mon-Sun with flexible scheduling is appreciated, with on-site duties in Richardson.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
• Experience with Hoyer lift operations.
• Experience caring for clients with dementia or cognitive impairment is highly preferred.
• Strong patience and de-escalation skills.
• Comfortable providing total care and assisting with mobility.

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at BrightStar Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, patient, and experienced one-on-one care to clients in the Granbury area. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our clinical team to ensure high-quality care that meets the unique needs of each client. Whether you work on a part-time basis with a flexible schedule, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you care for.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist with transfers using a Hoyer lift.
2. Provide toileting and personal care assistance.
3. Support activities of daily living (ADLs).
4. Offer companionship and emotional support.
5. Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition.

Qualifications:

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position which may include flexible scheduling. Availability for Monday through Sunday is appreciated.

This position is on-site only, located in Richardson, Texas, with services provided in the Granbury area.
