Role Overview

As a Caregiver at BrightStar Care, you’ll provide compassionate, one‑on‑one care to clients in the comfort of their own homes. You’ll work closely with clients, families, and our nursing team to help ensure safe, dependable, and high‑quality care.

This position is ideal for a caregiver who is experienced with hands‑on personal care and comfortable assisting clients with specialized equipment and care needs.

What You’ll Do

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care and hygiene.
• Perform safe Hoyer lift transfers.
• Assist with care involving PEG tubes and suprapubic catheters as appropriate to your training and scope.
• Provide companionship and encourage meaningful social interaction and activities.
• Travel reliably to clients’ homes and arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
• Accurately document care provided.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and nursing staff.
• Follow the client’s plan of care and BrightStar Care policies and procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

You’ll stand out if you have:

• Current CPR or First Aid certification.
• Additional training or experience in specialized care, such as Alzheimer’s or dementia care.
• Experience caring for clients with complex medical needs.

• Part‑Time / PRN
• Flexible scheduling based on client needs and availability
• Shifts available Monday–Sunday
• On‑site in clients’ homes
• Service area: Wilmer, Texas
