Job summary

Nala Care is hiring dependable caregivers to join our growing team. We provide non-medical in-home care to help seniors and individuals with disabilities stay safe and independent at home.

This role involves assisting with daily living activities, personal care, light housekeeping, companionship, and documentation, with flexible full-time or part-time opportunities in Fremont, Nebraska and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Dependable and punctual for scheduled shifts.
• Must pass required background screenings.
• Must complete First Aid, CPR, and Abuse & Neglect training before scheduling.
• Reliable transportation preferred.
• Driver's license and auto insurance required for transportation roles.
• Ability to assist with personal care and mobility.
• Professional, respectful, and compassionate attitude.
• Caregiving experience preferred but not required for all roles.

Responsibilities

Our caregivers provide non-medical in-home care that helps seniors and individuals with disabilities remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living

• Bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal care

• Meal preparation and light housekeeping

• Mobility and transfer assistance

• Companionship and supervision

• Medication reminders

• Transportation and errands when assigned

• Follow individual client care plans

• Maintain professional and respectful communication with clients, families, and Nala Care staff

• Accurately document services provided

• Communicate scheduling and client-related information through AxisCare

Requirements

• Must be dependable and able to report to scheduled shifts on time

• Must successfully complete all required background screenings

• Must provide or complete required First Aid, CPR, and Abuse & Neglect training before being placed on the schedule

• Reliable transportation is strongly preferred

• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance required for positions involving client transportation

• Ability to safely assist clients with personal care and mobility needs

• Professional, respectful, and compassionate attitude

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required for all positions
