Happier at Home in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support clients with daily living activities, mobility, and companionship. You will help with bathing, grooming, meals, light housekeeping, and medication reminders, while ensuring safety and well-being.

A high school diploma or equivalent, plus HHA or CNA certification in Florida, is preferred; vehicle and insurance required. Flexible scheduling and referral bonuses are available as part of a supportive team

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience desired.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and families.
• Support mobility and perform light exercises as directed.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding.
• Light housekeeping to maintain a safe home environment.
• Assist with transportation, shopping and errands.

As a Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to provide essential support to individuals who may require assistance with daily living activities. You will work closely with clients to ensure their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. The role involves not only physical assistance but also emotional support and companionship, making it crucial for our caregivers to build trusting relationships with clients and their families. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide assistance with toileting as needed
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare preferred

• Ability to follow care plans and procedures

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
• HHA Certificate or CNA License in state of Florida
• Must have own vehicle and insurance
