Job summary

Cheer Home Care is hiring Home Care Aides to provide compassionate non-medical care in clients’ homes in the San Diego North County area. Duties include companionship, personal care, transportation, and light housekeeping to help clients live independently and safely at home.

Shifts run 7am–7pm, with 4 hours of overtime pay included; the hourly rate ranges from $20 to $23 depending on experience and certifications. A supportive team and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Helping with activities of daily living
• Strong organizational & communication skills
• Certifications preferred but not required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED
• Must be able to drive and have a vehicle (mileage reimbursement)

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and non-medical home care to elderly or disabled clients
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and light meal prep
• Transport clients to medical appointments and manage medications reminders
• Perform light housekeeping and home organization

• Personal care with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, personal hygiene assistance, and light meal prep.
• Transportation services to clients for medical appointments.
• Dementia Care, Alzheimer's Care, Parkinson's Care, Hospice Care and more!
• Hourly and 24/7 Care.
• Light housekeeping and organization.

Requirements

• Helping with activities of daily living

• Able to drive client in their own personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement)
