Job summary

Westmont of Cypress, part of Westmont Living, seeks a compassionate CAREGIVER to assist residents with daily living activities and help maintain a comfortable, safe environment on-site. Shifts run from 6:00am to 2:00pm and 2:00pm to 10:00pm, with opportunities for training and growth.

You will assist with meals, personal care, transfers, and mobility, following each resident's service plan to ensure dignity and quality of life in a friendly, homelike setting.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting residents with ADL tasks.
• Ability to maintain safety and cleanliness in living spaces.
• Good communication with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping, making beds, serving meals.
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition to supervisor.
• Keep environment safe and clean for all residents.

What we need from you:

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping tasks, making beds, serving meals,
  • assisting with personal laundry, assisting with showers, assisting with toileting, dressing,
  • undressing, oral care, hair care, transfers and ambulation and any other needs addressed on the resident service plan.
• Keeping environment safe and clean for all residents.
• Observing residents for safety, and report any change of condition or other pertinent information to supervisor.

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
