Job summary

Interim HealthCare in Bend, OR is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors at home. You will provide personal care, companionship and assistance with daily activities to help clients live safely and independently.

The role offers flexible scheduling, online training and opportunities for skill growth, with 1:1 client ratios and a values‑driven team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Six (6) months of experience as a Caregiver preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support seniors at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Provide medication reminders and document client condition.
• Maintain a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Engage clients in activities for joy and well-being.

As a Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercisesProvide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Caregivers:

• High school diploma
• Six (6) months of experience as a Caregiver
• CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
