Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in Albany, OR is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide personal care for seniors in their homes. You’ll assist with daily activities, mobility, meals, and transportation, while maintaining safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Six months of caregiver experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature; strong communication skills; able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors to help them live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation, companionship).
• Assist with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document clients’ condition; notify supervisor of concerns.
• Create a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Engage clients in activities they enjoy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.

As a Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
