Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Southeast Texas is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home care across Southeast Texas. The role welcomes those with both personal and professional caregiving experience and values helping clients live safely and independently in their own homes.

Competitive hourly pay ranging from $11 to $15, with full-time and part-time options, requires a valid Texas driver license and availability to work flexible hours. Training is provided to support success.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of personal or professional caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid Texas Driver's License and current auto insurance.
• Strong communication skills and a caring attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical in-home care and support.
• Offer companionship through conversation and activities.
• Support mental alertness with client-centered activities.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal prep.
• Assist with grooming and dressing.
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands.
• Provide medication reminders for self-administered meds.
• Observe and report changes to a supervisor.
• Complete accurate documentation of care provided.
• Participate in training and care discussions.
• Follow safety, confidentiality, and company policies.

SYNERGY HomeCare of Southeast Texas is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home care to clients throughout Southeast Texas. Whether you have experience caring for a loved one or working professionally, we welcome individuals who are passionate about helping others live safely and independently in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and support in the client's home
• Offer companionship through conversation, reading, and activities
• Support mental alertness with engaging, client-centered activities
• Provide emotional support and encouragement
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy home environment
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, linens, basic cleaning)
• Prepare and serve meals and clean the kitchen afterward
• Assist with grooming and dressing
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and walks
• Provide medication reminders for self-administered medications
• Observe and report changes in client condition to a supervisor
• Build positive relationships with clients, families, and team members
• Complete accurate documentation of care provided
• Participate in training, staff meetings, and care discussions
• Follow all safety, confidentiality, and company policies
