Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Southeast Texas is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home care across the Southeast Texas area. The role welcomes individuals with caregiving experience, including personal caregiving, to help clients live safely and independently in their own homes.

We offer full-time and part-time opportunities with competitive pay ranging from $11.00 to $15.00 per hour, plus benefits such as insurance and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and support in the client's home
• Offer companionship through conversation, reading, and activities
• Support mental alertness with engaging, client-centered activities
• Provide emotional support and encouragement
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy home environment
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, linens, basic cleaning)
• Prepare and serve meals and clean the kitchen afterward
• Assist with grooming and dressing
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and walks
• Provide medication reminders for self-administered medications
• Observe and report changes in client condition to a supervisor
• Build positive relationships with clients, families, and team members
• Complete accurate documentation of care provided
• Participate in training, staff meetings, and care discussions
• Follow all safety, confidentiality, and company policies
