Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) is seeking a Career & Transfer Education Advisor to support students across the Harrisburg and Gettysburg campuses and college-wide via Zoom. You will deliver career advising, transfer coaching, and connect students with college and community resources.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least three years in career counseling or related fields, with a valid driver's license.
This is position is 100% Grant Funded and is subject to annual evaluation.
This position will report to and support student at both the Harrisburg and Gettysburg campuses as well as other students college-wide via Zoom
Job Summary: The Career & Transfer Education Advisor is accountable to the Assistant Director, Career Education for providing career advising, transfer coaching, informing students of available college services, and referring students to appropriate college/community resources.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required and three years of experience related to career counseling or career education, human resources, or similar field.
Licensing Requirements:
Valid driver's license.

Hiring Range:$48,182-$60,227
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in higher education, particularly at the community college level
Experience with career counseling and with career development
Experience having worked with multiple career assessment tools and an understanding of labor market data
Experience in transfer advising, particularly at the community college level
