Responsibilities

  • Teach in a personalized or small group instructional environment.
  • Work with staff, students, and/or parents to determine and evaluate student academic achievement.
  • Implement basic CTE programs to facilitate career awareness and exploration.
  • Develop, review, and revise CTE pathways and programs.
  • Utilize professional instructional strategies and approved curriculum and materials.
  • Establish industry partnerships with local businesses and community agencies.
  • Support student preparation and training in work-based learning experiences.
  • Contribute to plans supporting student attendance and transportation needs.
  • Maintain detailed records and reporting for student achievement and continuous program improvement.
  • Maintain industry-recognized certificates and credentials and attend related trainings.
  • Collaborate with core teachers and school staff to support student attendance and achievement.
  • Practice effective classroom management.
  • Attend department and school staff meetings and graduation ceremonies.
  • Participate in state- and school-mandated testing.
  • Attend assigned professional development activities.
  • Maintain professional and courteous interactions with school personnel, students, and parents.
  • Be available during school operating hours.
  • Perform assigned administrative duties and activities
