Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced educator to serve as the teacher of record in Wisconsin. The role focuses on student achievement, culture, and accountability goals while delivering live lessons through web conferencing.

Qualifications

• Current state teaching license in the appropriate content area.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Two years' teaching experience preferred.
• Comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment involving observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring.
• High-quality written and verbal communication skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook.
• Ability to properly manage confidential information.
• Ability to stand for up to 90 minutes at a time.
• Ability to supervise students in all school settings.
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks.
• Experience working in a multicultural setting preferred.

• Review student data to adjust instruction.
• Differentiate instruction for all students.
• Apply research-based practices in synchronous and asynchronous instruction.
• Create a joyful, caring, and supportive classroom environment.
• Integrate culturally responsive teaching practices.
• Implement school-wide culture expectations and norms.
• Communicate with families about students' academic and social-emotional growth.
• Incorporate 21st-century technology skills into classroom and team practice.
• Plan and implement non-instructional activities, including social events and field trips, and attend them in person.
• Collaborate and communicate with colleagues.
• Travel annually to support required face-to-face state testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
