Job summary

College of Charleston is seeking an Assistant Director of Career Success to support career education and experiential learning in the School of Business. You will advise students, run workshops, manage Handshake and internship processes, and coordinate events and data reporting.

The role requires collaboration with campus partners and external employers, with budget oversight and AACSB-aligned data analysis. Evening/weekend duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred in related field.
• Minimum 2 years in career development or higher education.
• Experience planning and assessing career/experiential learning programs.
• FERPA privacy knowledge and counseling techniques.
• Proficient with Handshake and Lightcast; able to analyze salary data.
• Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini).

Responsibilities

• Provide career advising, workshops, and daily student support.
• Manage Handshake, LinkedIn reviews, resume/cover letter reviews, and internship searches.
• Oversee budget for German-American Business Summit and Summer Internship Award.
• Analyze career data for AACSB accreditation requirements.
• Collaborate with employers and campus partners to deliver programming.
