Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Student Affairs, Counseling, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field.
• Three years of professional experience in career services, recruiting, employer relations, student advising, workforce development, human resources, student affairs, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to advise, coach, mentor, or support individuals in achieving educational, professional, or career-related goals.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with students, employers, alumni, faculty, staff, and community partners.
• Strong organizational, project management, and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Knowledge of business career pathways and employment opportunities relevant to undergraduate business students.
• Preferred: Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in career services, employer relations, student advising, workforce development, or related field.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Student Affairs, Counseling, Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate, and deliver career-related programs, services, resources, and events for CBE undergraduates.
• Provide individualized and group career advising for employment, internship, and graduate school opportunities.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with WWU stakeholders to expand student career opportunities.
• Track and report career outcomes and provide data-driven recommendations for program improvement.
