Job summary

WWU College of Business & Economics seeks a part-time Career Services Professional to design and deliver graduate career programs for MBA students, connecting them with employers and MBA alumni. You will coordinate events, mentorship, and internship pipelines while partnering with MBA Operations and campus Career Services.

The role requires coaching, presentations, and stakeholder management to help students achieve their employment goals upon graduation.

Qualifications

Minimum five years of professional experience in Career Services, HR, Recruiting, or related field.
Bachelor’s degree required; additional work experience may substitute.
Strong advising and coaching skills.
Ability to conduct presentations and use relevant technology.
Ability to represent WWU to internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent organization and time-management skills.
Proficiency with common software (Zoom, MS Teams, PowerPoint, Excel).
Understanding of AI and its impact on students’ job search.
Ability to advise students with varying levels of experience.

Responsibilities

Design, direct, and deliver graduate career services programs, services, and events in CBE.
Plan events for MBA career services and manage MBA Mentorship Program.
Provide group and one-on-one career counseling for MBA students.
Collaborate with MBA Operations, campus Career Services, and CBE Career Support Team.
Build relationships with external stakeholders and host events as the career services representative.
Lead MBA Association activities and assist MPACC students as needed.
