Job summary

Employ Prince George’s, Inc. in Largo, MD, is seeking a Career Services Coordinator to support the Director of Career Services in delivering comprehensive career development services to Prince George’s County job seekers.

The role involves supervising Career Consultants and the Program Assistant, providing coaching and technical guidance, and coordinating specialized caseloads. The position collaborates with the Education and Training, Contracts and Operations, and Program Performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field required; relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• 3+ years of experience in workforce development with direct service.
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience, including coaching, developing, and evaluating staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of WIOA regulations and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Career Services in delivering and improving career development services.
• Review performance data, identify areas for improvement, and support corrective action planning.
• Serve as liaison to training providers and partner service agencies; prepare reports.
• Coordinate and facilitate workforce development workshops, orientations, and hiring events.
• Lead and assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of new staff and interns.
